eArts category Use Flash, 3D & Comics to unleash your artistic creativity! (1) Flash Animations Use Adobe® Flash®, to draw your characters and symbols, and place them on the stage. Learn basics of tweening and transforming, and create your full animation for the web. (2) 3D Modeling Use 3D Studio Max® or Maya® to model objects and scenes. Add lights and textures, place cameras and put your 3D world into action. Render your project into a 3D animation of your own. (3) Computer Comics Using Adobe® Photoshop®, Illustrator® and the Wacom® digital pen, learn the process of inking and coloring comics digitally. Draw your original storyboard, compile your own digital comic book and print it. Drawing skills are a must! Campers' works will be displayed at the Israeli Cartoon Museum. eLife category Capture the motion through videos, music and design! (4) Video Clips Record the action and use movie editing software to add transitions and special effects. Add a soundtrack and render the final video clip to broadcast online. (5) Digital Music Create your own DJ demo using mixing and editing software. Record original tunes using live instruments to create a music style you like. Share your music with the world through online communities. Music Keyboard at each station! (6) Photo & Graphic Design Shoot the landscape of your choice and use Adobe® Photoshop® to edit, manipulate and apply effects. Design and print a cool T-shirt. (includes T-shirt to take home) eGaming category You set the scene, You set the rules, It's your game! Developed with Beit Berl College, which offers the leading Interactive Media courses in Israel (7) Casual Games Production 1 Develop your game-building skills using Game Maker. Design characters, objects, platforms and backgrounds to create a whole new action game and distribute it to friends and family. (8) Casual Games Production 2 Build more complex games while working in a team. Direct the graphics, programming, sound-track or story-board. Create your final game by merging all pieces together. Prerequisite: Casual Games Production 1 (7) or experience in Game Maker (9) Game Modding Create your own Warcraft®! Use professional Mod tools to create a whole new adventure by modifying one of today's most popular video games. Use the 3D game engine, edit maps, characters and rules. (10) Mobile Games Use fascinating studio software made by an Israeli Start-up company to design characters, environments and objects. Compile your game into a standard mobile format, play it on your cell-phone and publish it online. eWeb category Design and develop the future of the Internet! (11) Web Design Create your own website using HTML and add components such as text, images, backgrounds and links. Make your website unique and publish it on the web. Send the site to friends or family and have it linked from the eCamp Israel website. (12) Website programming Program in PHP to upgrade your website with dynamic content and develop exciting online applications. Add forms, protect content with passwords and use cookies to store information. Publish your website and have it linked from the eCamp Israel website. Prerequisite: Web Design (11) or experience in HTML (13) Web 2.0™ Elements Combine web 2.0™ components in your website and learn how to embed widgets, blogs and videos. Use mash-up editors to create your own Google® Gadgets, Facebook® applications and RSS feeds. Prerequisite: Web Design (11) or experience in HTML eConstruct category Get your hands on the hottest developments! (14) Robotics Use the BoeBot® kit to build your own rolling robot. Learn the basics of robotics, program the robot's AI and set its actions and reactions. Explore many variations of robot designs using this expandable kit. $120 Lab fee (includes robot to take home) (15) Wireless Game Controllers Design wireless controllers for your own video games using Israeli Steppo technology. Use touch sensors to build step-on controllers and touch buttons. (16) Programming 101 Learn the basics of computer programming using the Visual C# (C-sharp) language. Take your first steps in the programming world - write your first programs and simple computer games. (17) C++ Programming Dive into the world of C++ and learn the basics of object-oriented programming. Use and create arrays, types, classes and more, to develop more complicated programs and code.
